About us

We are an architect and a civil engineer, driven by passion. Traveling extensively has always been part of our shared journey—in everyday life, for work, or on vacation. This is only possible because we have a base between all our activities where we can retreat and relax: our home.

We wanted to have this feeling, along with new impressions and experiences, on our vacations too. No matter where in the world we were traveling, and still are. Arriving, being there, feeling good. We have encountered many wonderful people and accommodations over the years, and from each vacation we have taken home something special or even a ritual. In winter, the protea in a South African vase on the dining table makes us want to walk through the botanical garden near Cape Town again. The fine spices from the souk remind us of our favorite restaurant in Marrakesh when we cook. But also the coffee grinder, which takes us back to our road trip through Australia with every cup of coffee. We have brought together all our experiences, as well as our expectations of a place, in our heavenly loft. We did the interior work ourselves, which we are particularly proud of. Every screw and every panel was first in our hands and sometimes even at our feet. Many hours of work on the construction site were preceded by many hours of design work until we finally developed a coherent concept. In harmony with nature and technology.
